My name is Vennela Sharma, and I'm 21 years old. I'm currently in my second year of a Bachelor’s
degree in Cyber Security at Kristiania University College.
My journey with IT started all the way back in elementary school,
where I took a coding course at a summer school. I found programming and technology fascinating even at that age,
we learned how to code using Scratch.
In high school (VGS), I chose IT1 and IT2 as electives,
where I learned more about programming and technology. This really opened my eyes,
and I realized that IT could be a real career path. After spending a year in the military,
I knew I wanted to focus on cybersecurity and dive deeper into the security side of IT.
Starting my bachelor’s degree at Høyskolen Kristiania has been both challenging and rewarding.
Along the way, I’ve worked on several personal projects, which you can explore
in the Projects section of my portfolio. I’m motivated to take on greater responsibility within cybersecurity,
learn more about defensive and offensive security methods, and contribute to safer digital solutions.
Outside of IT, I enjoy spending time with friends, traveling, and weightlifting.
I’m also a self-employed barber at ENDS in Lillestrøm, one of the few female barbers in Norway.
I manage IT and media operations at ENDS, including customer systems, website maintenance, marketing,
and other digital solutions.
I’m still exploring which path I want to take within cybersecurity, but I’m eager to learn,
grow, and connect with others who share the same passion. Let’s talk cybersecurity!
